RRB ALP Physical and Medical Standard Criteria
In order to be eligible for RRB ALP, candidates are required to meet both physical and medical fitness standards. The prescribed Medical Standard is A-1, indicating that candidates should be physically fit in all respects. Additionally, candidates must adhere to specific vision standards, as detailed below:
- Distant Vision: 6/6, 6/6 (Without glasses, with fogging test; must not accept +2D)
- Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 (Without glasses)
Candidates are also required to pass various tests, including Color Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic Vision, etc.
RRB ALP Educational Qualification 2024

- Matriculation / SSLC and ITI: Obtained from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Heat Engine, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Mechanic Diesel, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Millwright Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic Radio & TV, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic, Tractor Mechanic, Turner, Wireman, OR,
- Matriculation / SSLC and Course Completed Act Apprenticeship: In the trades mentioned above, OR,
- Three years Diploma: In Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering, OR,
- Combination of various streams: In these Engineering disciplines from a recognized Institution in lieu of ITI.

RRB ALP Recruitment Selection Process 2024
